Adhyatma Ramayanam (Tamil)

This is a spiritual version of Ramayana taught by Lord Siva himself to Mother Parvathi. Presents in a much shorter compass the whole of the Rama?s story viewed in a spiritual setting. It explains the philosophy (or teachings) of Rama and the secret of his advent. It contains rare devotional hymns by Ahalya, Jatayu, Sabari & others as well as dharmic sayings by the epic characters. Story of Ramayana is combined lucidly with moral lessons from Upanishads and hence opt quoted or referred by Sri Ramakrishna as can be found in ?Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna? or ?Amudha Mozhigal?. In this book Ramayana is narrated in Tamil prose with few reference slokas gives in Devanagari. The 3643 verses are given here in prose form. The book has explanation in Tamil for the verses from all the 6 cantos of Adhyatma Ramayana.
