This book is about life of Sri Ramakrishna presented in simple English with nice pictorial illustrations for children. It was Swami Vivekananda's express desire that students at all levels including children of tender age and mind were made acquainted with the lofty picture thoughts of the Hindus presented in a form and manner easily acceptable to them. Sri Ramakrishna in the present age is the embodiment of the highest ideals of the Indian people and of the deepest spiritual feelings experienced by men of all religions of the world. His life and sayings shed a bright light on the path of life darkened by modern problems. They also show the correct and certain way to reach the goal which for the individual is perfect piece and for humanity at large universal love and equality.
