Swami Vivekananda As A Philosopher

Swami Vivekananda is widely known as a spiritual personality. But that he is also a philosopher who has made an original contribution to the proper exposition of the age-old non-dualistic philosophy of India in the light of modern milieu, is perhaps not so well known or acknowledged. Swamiji himself expressed a desire to write a commentary on the Brahma sutras to cater to the present day understanding. Unfortunately, he could not live that long to fulfil the wish. To our knowledge, no substantial research has been conducted so far to establish the point technically.
