Vedanta - Concepts And Applications: Papers from a Seminar held from 26 Dec to 30 Dec 1997 at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture Kolkata. Vedanta the end and import of the Vedas has innumerable aspects both philosophical and religious. Swami Vivekananda used this comprehensive term to define the essence of his message. For this reason and also because of the increasing interest in the subject the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission sponsored an International Seminar entitledVedanta Concepts and Application to observe the Centenary of the founding of the Ramakrishna Mission on 1 May 1897. The Seminar was held from 26 Dec 30 Dec to 1997 in Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture Kolkata with 21 participants 11 from India and 10 from abroad.
